I have seen most of the Mac users using the Apple Menu to put their Mac to sleep. However, with the help of a simple keyboard shortcut, you can put your Mac to sleep in seconds. Just hit the “Option–Command–Power Button” keyboard combo and your Mac will go to sleep instantaneously. Quit All Apps and Shut Down Your Mac. More and more iPhone apps are offering people the option of signing up by using information stored with Apple, adding to the array of quick sign-in formats that let people skip typing in their email address and other details. But how Apple is implementing this option—requiring it on all apps that offer sign-in options from other firms like Google or Facebook—has upset some developers. And that has prompted complaints that the U.S. File downloader mac. Department of Justice is now investigating, said two people with direct knowledge of the situation.

The PC-keyboard equivalent of Alt on a Mac is called the Option key, and you’ll find the Option Key on your Mac if you go two keys to the left of the spacebar. However, the option key on a Mac keyboard is used in a different way than the alt key on a Windows PC. In terms of functionality, the alt key in Windows is often more comparable with the Command key than with the Option key on a Mac. You might be also familiar with the Ctrl and Alt keys from your PC. On your Mac keyboard, you have Command (⌘ cmd), Control (ctrl), and Option (⌥ alt) keys.
